Terms of service

1. Who you’re contracting with

Sambandh is operated by Anurag M, an individual based in India (“we”, “us”). Contact: support@sambandh.ai. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, our online reseller and merchant of record. When you buy a plan, Dodo Payments sells it to you under its own buyer terms, and these terms govern your use of Sambandh.

2. Who can use Sambandh

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. You may use Sambandh for your work or to manage your own relationships. One account is for one person.

3. Free setup and trial

• Free setup: when you first sign in you can use Sambandh fully, with no card, for up to 10 records or 48 hours from your assistant’s first successful action, whichever comes first.
• Trial: to keep adding records, you add a card at checkout to start a 14-day free trial. Your first charge is on day 15 unless you cancel first (see section 4 for timing).
• One free setup and one trial per person.
• After free setup ends without a card, or after a cancellation or expiry, your account becomes read-only: you can still read and export your data, but not add or change records.

4. Plans, renewal and cancellation

• Plans are $29 per month or $290 per year, in USD. Sales tax or VAT may be added at checkout. If you choose yearly, or switch to yearly, during your trial, your first year is $260 and it then renews at $290 a year. Switching from monthly to yearly during the trial ends the trial and charges $260 at once.
• Your plan renews automatically at the end of each period, monthly or yearly, at your plan’s renewal price ($29 a month or $290 a year), until you cancel. We email you a reminder 7 days before the first charge after a trial. If we ever change the price of an existing plan, we’ll email you at least 30 days before the change, and you can cancel.
• Cancel anytime in Billing; to avoid the next charge, cancel at least 48 hours before your trial ends or your plan renews. Billing opens the Dodo Payments customer portal. Cancel at least 48 hours before your 14-day trial ends and you won’t be charged; you keep access until the trial ends. Cancelling a paid plan stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the paid period.
• Refunds follow our refund and cancellation policy.

5. Your data and your contacts’ data

• You own your data. We use it only to provide Sambandh, as described in our privacy policy. A Data Processing Addendum is available on request.
• You are responsible for having a lawful basis to store information about the people in your CRM and for giving them any notice the law requires.
• You can export your data at any time, in every plan state.

6. AI assistants

Claude and any other assistant you connect are third-party services that you choose, under your own agreement with their provider. Assistants can misunderstand instructions and create, change or delete records. Review what your assistant does: Sambandh marks edits and deletes so your assistant asks before them, keeps an activity log with Undo, and lets you restore deleted records for 30 days. We aren’t responsible for an assistant’s outputs or for how its provider handles data. Sambandh can’t stop instructions hidden in your own data from steering your assistant.

7. Acceptable use

You agree to our acceptable use policy. In short: no spam or bulk outreach, no scraped or purchased lists, no sensitive data such as health, payment card or government ID data, and no misuse of the service.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the acceptable use policy, puts the service or others at risk, or where the law requires it. Where we reasonably can, we’ll tell you first and give you a chance to export your data. You can stop using Sambandh and delete your account at any time. Data is then kept or deleted as set out in the privacy policy.

9. Disclaimers and liability

• Sambandh is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep it running and your data safe, but we don’t promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
• To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or lost profits, revenue or data.
• To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
• You’ll compensate us for claims arising from data you had no right to store or from your breach of the acceptable use policy.
• Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can’t be limited.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over disputes, unless the consumer law of the country you live in gives you the right to bring a claim there.

11. Changes to these terms

We’ll email you at least 14 days before a material change takes effect. If you keep using Sambandh after that, the new terms apply; if you don’t agree, you can cancel and export your data.

12. Export control and sanctions

You may not use Sambandh where it would breach export control or sanctions laws, or if you are a person those laws prohibit us from serving.
