Connect Sambandh to Claude

One URL, one sign-in, one click on Allow. Sambandh works in Claude on the web, desktop and mobile, and in Claude Code.

The only Sambandh connector URL is https://sambandh.ai/mcp.

Claude on the web and desktop

In claude.ai or the Claude desktop app, open Customize › Connectors.
Click + Add, then Add custom connector.
Name it Sambandh and paste this URL, then click Continue:
https://sambandh.ai/mcp
Leave Authentication on Sign in now and OAuth client on Use Claude’s published identity. Click Continue if Claude asks you to review the settings it detected, then click Add.
Sign in to Sambandh with your email, then click Allow.

If you see Advanced settings instead of these steps, leave them empty and click Add.

Free plan

Claude Free can add one custom connector.

Fewer prompts

Claude asks before each change by default. Set Create contact, Log interaction and Add follow-up to Always allow. Edits and deletes still ask every time.

Claude desktop

Don’t edit claude_desktop_config.json. That file is for local servers; use Customize › Connectors.

Claude on your phone

Add Sambandh once on claude.ai or in the desktop app. It then appears in the Claude iOS and Android apps automatically, under the same account.

Claude Team and Enterprise

On Team and Enterprise plans, members can’t add a custom connector themselves. An Owner adds it once for the organization; each member then connects with their own Sambandh account.

Owner, once

Open Organization settings › Connectors.
Click Add, then Custom, then Web.
Name it Sambandh, paste the URL and click Continue:

Review the settings Claude detected and click Continue.
Leave Authentication on Sign in now and OAuth client on Use Claude’s published identity, then click Add.

Each member

Open Customize › Connectors and find Sambandh (it has a Custom label).
Click Connect, sign in to Sambandh with your email, then click Allow.

Claude Code

Add the server for every project (user scope):

In Claude Code, run /mcp, choose sambandh, then Authenticate. Sign in in the browser window that opens and click Allow.

Let Claude Code do it

Paste this into Claude Code and it can run the command itself:

Optional: fewer prompts

To let the read and add tools run without asking, add them to ~/.claude/settings.json (or one at a time in /permissions). Edits and deletes still ask. Don’t use mcp__sambandh__*: that would also skip the prompt for edits and deletes.

Troubleshooting

I didn’t get a sign-in code: Codes come from Sambandh and usually arrive within a minute. Check your spam or promotions folder, make sure the email address is spelled right, then ask for a new code. Still stuck? Write to support@sambandh.ai.
Sambandh isn’t responding in Claude: Click + in the chat box, then Connectors, and make sure Sambandh is switched on for this conversation. If it asks you to sign in again, reconnect it under Customize › Connectors.
Claude answered from memory instead of Sambandh: Start your message with “In Sambandh…”, for example “In Sambandh, what’s due today?”. Naming Sambandh tells Claude to use the connector.
The connector URL: The only Sambandh connector URL is https://sambandh.ai/mcp. Don’t add look-alike addresses.
